A beautiful and ornate original Victorian cast iron fire surround with breakfront mantle shelf. The casting on this is amazingly crisp and extremely good! Strings and flowers with bows and swags around the opening. 2 rosettes with reeding and a central tablet to the frieze with an urn and more flowing flowers. Leaf decoration and dentil moulding below and around the breakfront mantle shelf. A stunner!!! This would look equally good around an original tiled insert or a modern log burner.
